Instagram Post for FLRRiSH, a company that offers coaching and support for parents of preemies:
I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween! Is it just me, or did October FLY by?
Today is November 1st, which means it’s the first day of Prematurity Awareness Month.
Right now, hundreds of thousands of families (one in ten, to be exact) are being thrown into the world of parenthood in a totally unorthodox way.
And while medicine and technology are advancing every day, there is a serious lack of emotional support for the parents navigating this challenging journey.
I share my story in hopes that other preemie families can feel more empowered than I did. After all, if 10% of babies are born prematurely, shouldn’t we be providing the families with the specialized support and resources they need?
It’s time for preemie families to stop being lumped together with “regular” families. While ALL births are overwhelming and life-altering, our experiences are not the same.
I look forward to continuing our work on FLRRiSH this month as we prepare to launch our full-service site. In the meantime, visit the link in my bio for coaching support and free resources to help educate and empower you on your journey!

Are you a preemie mom or family who craves support, not just from doctors or therapists in a clinical setting, but from someone who has experienced the journey first-hand? 🤷🏻♀️
Well, you’ve come to the right place- by extracting the wisdom I’ve gained going through my own preemie journey, I have the honor of being able to connect with and empower women who are right in the thick of it. Through my company FLRRiSH, I offer not just emotional support, but tangible resources and tools to help you navigate your experience in the NICU and beyond.
Everyone deserves support, ESPECIALLY during some of the most difficult and confusing moments of their lives. 💙
Head over to the link in my bio to book a free consultation call so we can identify how I can best support you!
Ghostwritten post inspired by FLRRISH founder, Jodi Klaristenfeld’s story:
When it was time to take Jenna home from the hospital for the first time, I remember feeling both excited and panicked. 😅
It’s all that I had been dreaming about for the past couple of months, but suddenly when it was time, all the “what if” questions I had floating around in my head started coming back.
“What if I can’t do this?”
“What if she’s not ready?”
“What if the Brady episodes that occurred in the NICU happen again when it’s just us?”
I couldn’t shake the overwhelming feeling of doom.
Of course, in hindsight, everything ended up being fine. Over time, I learned to trust my instincts as a parent and ask for help when I needed it. I allowed myself to feel my emotions while remembering that the doctors and nurses wouldn’t have discharged my daughter if they didn’t feel like she was ready. 💙
The point is–most people don’t realize that your NICU journey doesn’t end when your baby comes home.
In some sense- it is only the beginning. But this beginning brings unique challenges and joys, and like every chapter of your story, is worth cherishing and being present for.
If you’re taking your baby home for the first time, remember that it takes TIME to find your rhythm, ease your nerves, and trust in your strengths. And that is okay! 🙏🏼
